KNEE DEEP is the first Outer Reef 650 Motoryacht to come onto the market built with the popular open layout design. Built to Ocean Class A standards, she will take you in safety and comfort whatever your cruising plans may be. Having just completed her yearly service including bottom paint, mechanical maintenance, and detailing, KNEE DEEP is ready for her next adventure. In excellent condition and with low hours, this yacht will impress even the most critical eye!
In anticipation of a summer voyage now cancelled, the C-9 Caterpillars have just received the 1000 hour service requirement in addition to the usual oil and filter service.
KNEE DEEP has a timeless design that draws attention everywhere she goes. From the extended swim platform there are matching stairs port and starboard leading up to the covered aft deck. Here you will find built-in seating aft with storage under, a custom wet-bar cabinet to port with refrigerator and sink, and a stainless steel ladder to starboard leading to the flybridge. There are wing doors forward protecting this area from the elements.
Moving forward, the main salon is entered through a large sliding door. The interior is of a beautiful satin finished cherry wood with a combination of carpet and solid teak planked flooring throughout. Immediately to port is the entertainment cabinet with TV and an extensive audio/visual electronics systems. A large L-shaped settee with a large hi-lo hinged teak table to port and matching custom chairs with cabinet to starboard offer a comfortable area for entertaining and dining. There is a built-in cabinet forward to starboard, a drawer under the settee for wine storage with additional storage under the settee.
Forward and up two steps, the galley to port has large counter spaces, full size appliances and abundant storage. Opposite is a day head, additional storage and icemaker. Forward is the pilothouse. There is a hideaway wall that separates the galley from the pilothouse. When down there is an unimpeded view the full length of this deck aiding in boat operation. The pilothouse has a centerline helm with Stidd helm chair, L-shaped settee with custom teak table. To starboard stairs lead up to the flybridge and down to the accommodations.
Below are three staterooms with ensuite heads. The full beam master aft has a king size bed athwartships, large walk-in closet, second closet and multiple drawers and shelves. To port the ensuite bath has a large vanity with sink and mirror, stall shower and separate toilet space. A centerline door aft leads to the engine room. Forward is the VIP guest stateroom with queen berth, ensuite head and shower. Just aft to port is the second guest stateroom with double berth with pullman berth above and ensuite head and shower. Across from this room is a stacked washer and dryer behind a cherry wood door.
Stairs from the pilothouse lead to the flybridge with seating for a crowd and covered by a large hardtop. Just aft the boat deck has cabinets which include a built-in BBQ grill, sink and refrigerator. A fully hydraulic davit easily launches the 13' tender and there is plenty of additional space for other equipment and water toys.
The stand-up engine room is a pleasure to work in and the lazarette utility room aft has lots of storage, additional freezer and workbench.
The spacious aft deck has boarding gates port and starboard for access to the dock while stairways aft lead to the swim platform. Additionally:
The covered side decks with high bulwarks topped by stainless steel handrails offer secure and safe movement while offshore and docking and provides peace of mind when traveling with children and pets.
This "Best in Class" flybridge has a hardtop over the helm and seating area giving protection from the elements and can accommodate large groups at two large L-shaped settees. The boat deck area has plenty of room for the tender and other water toys you may want.
The lazarette has been customized into a very functional utility room with a built-in workbench to port forward complete with vise and multi-drawer tool chest. Additionally:
Stand-up engine room with access from the master and from the lazarette through watertight doors. Great access to engines and equipment for easy servicing.
