Hope you're doing well and are enjoying the summer season. I wanted to let you know what a great experience it is dealing with Randy Ives. As you are aware TAILWINDS was delivered in the height of the Covid breakout which brought new and unique challenges to the commissioning process and our "on site" participation. Randy insured that the process continued to move forward and made all requirements necessary for vendors and employees to work in a safe environment so that we could bring the boat north within a designated time extension granted by our insurance carrier.
Randy, above all, is a caring person who takes a personal interest in his customers' understanding of the systems on the boat, but also follows up to insure you're doing okay running the vessel after you leave the dock. From a customer service perspective, I witnessed first-hand Randy taking calls from customers after hours and on weekends to answer questions and help out whatever their issues were. There have been countless times I have called Randy over the past couple of months (usually because of "user error") and his professionalism, sense of urgency and personal caring have been second to none.
Jeff, I could continue to list accolades, and I'm sure you have heard it from other customers, but Randy is a key individual that truly makes Outer Reef a company that stands above others.
