I played Victory at Sea!
On my way to Campbell River, I needed to pass Seymour Narrows. If you read the Coast Pilot, essentially, it cautioned that boats traversing the narrows should only go at slack tide. Being a New Yorker with no patience, I went thru at high tide. I never moved the engine RPMs beyond 1,200. I steered the mid channel with 10 knot currents and a 15-knot wind. ARGO hit a top end speed of 19.8 knots at 1,200 RPMs!
