SHAMROCK is an extraordinary yacht that stands out with its unique design and is perfect for accommodating a large family or crew members requiring separate quarters. This vessel offers a harmonious blend of comfort and functionality.
Step aboard the air-conditioned aft deck, accessible from both the cockpit and a spacious salon. The galley is thoughtfully positioned forward and seamlessly connected to the salon and an on-deck office. An additional convenience is the on-deck head and a generously sized pantry.
The pilothouse features L-shaped seating, an expansive teak table, and easy access to the side decks through port and starboard doors. Exceptional visibility ensures stress-free docking. Safety at sea is a priority, reflected in the high bulwarks surrounding the side decks and the Portuguese bridge leading to the foredeck. A set of comfortable stairs from the pilothouse lead to a flybridge and helm station with great visibility, commanding views, ample seating, and a spacious Bimini for sun and weather protection. A dedicated boat deck area aft is perfect for securing a tender.
The full-beam master suite is accessed via a dedicated stairway, filled with natural light from numerous ports, including two large hatches. It also boasts a generously sized head and shower. Forward of the master, the full-beam engine room can be found, ensuring easy access to all systems and equipment. Additional accommodations can be accessed from steps in the pilot house, including a dinette and galleyette. An exclusive private cabin with upper and lower berths and a storage locker are also available. For added convenience, a stacked washer and dryer set is located at the base of the pilot house staircase. Two equally comfortable guest staterooms feature twin lower berths, hanging lockers, and ample storage.
SHAMROCK is remarkably well-maintained and offers superior performance and efficiency. It boasts an extended range, making it an exceptional value – an opportunity not to be missed!
SHAMROCK, a 2001, 75-foot Grand Alaskan Flushdeck model with a cockpit, offers traditional timeless design, excellent seakeeping, beautiful interior and joinery, and exceptional volume.
Starting aft, the cockpit offers an opening transom gate door to a large swim platform, storage via a large hatch in the teak-covered deck, a spacious storage cabinet, and multiple built-in rod holders.
Four steps up from the cockpit is entry into a full-beam, teak covered and air-conditioned aft deck. It is fully enclosed but offers the ability to open sections of the Isinglass panels. There is built-in seating with storage cabinets on each end. Also, a large custom teak table, which, combined with the teak chairs and built in seating, can easily accommodate 6-8 for alfresco dining. Forward, to starboard is a teak cabinet with counter and additional storage cabinets above, and two large teak doors centerline to allow privacy from the salon. To port is an additional cabinet housing the AC air handler. In addition, the full-height wing doors from the side decks protect the area from any undesirable weather conditions.
As you enter the salon through the double doors from the aft deck, there is substantial L-shaped seating to port, with two free-standing end tables and a very comfortable cushioned-chair. To starboard, there is cabinetry storage which includes the hidden large flatscreen TV, which can be raised for viewing. The cabinetry storage with a beautiful countertop extends all the way forward in the salon on the starboard side. The entire area is carpeted. Air conditioning ventilation is built into the valances above the three large windows on each side of the salon.
The well-equipped galley is on the same level as the salon, with beautiful granite counters, updated appliances, double stainless sinks, and two glass faced cabinets that face the salon. To starboard, opposite the galley is a full-height pantry with substantial storage and a full-height mirror forward. There is also an on-deck day head.
The hallway leading to the pilothouse allows excellent visibility aft. There are full-height exterior doors that lead out to wide covered side decks, allowing for complete control of the yacht with the remote control. The pilothouse also offers multiple camera systems that allow visibility aft, plus the side decks and engine room. Many upgrades have taken place to the electronics and other systems located in the pilothouse. There is a center-set Stidd helm chair with a chrome base. The entire area has the same teak and holly floor that is predominant throughout the entire yacht. The beautiful teak table and L-shaped built-in seating on the port side of the Pilothouse provides additional areas for storage. A wide staircase to starboard leads to the flybridge, and encompasses more storage, and an icemaker. The placement of all the windows in this area allows for great visibility. The port side of the helm has a very large counter for use of charts and cabinetry storage below.
Outside of the pilothouse side doors, are wide side decks with a beautiful varnish, and teak handrails covered for weather. To port, the Marquipt boarding tide-rise steps are secured along the inside of the bulwarks, which offer superior protection to stanchions and rail systems, and are at a height designed for safety at sea. The side decks lead forward to a Portuguese bridge ahead of the lower helm, with built-in storage and teak capped rail. The fore deck access is via an opening gate door on the starboard side of the Portuguese. It offers a centerline seating area with storage, and to port, is a shore power connection area. The stainless stanchions on the fore deck were cleverly designed and mounted into the bulwarks to allow ease of additional varnish to the toe rail. The vertical windlass is forward, with the anchor above the protecting stainless brass plate. The stainless long-range spotlight and the triple Kahlenberg horns are mounted above the pilothouse.
Back inside, a staircase on the starboard side of the pilothouse forward leads down to the twin guest staterooms, a crew cabin and lounge and a laundry center. Proceeding down the comfortable steps, at the bottom of the landing is a washer and dryer set. Moving aft are two equal staterooms, each with twin long berths, full-height hanging lockers, drawer storage, teak and holly floor, and ensuite heads and showers. One of the additional benefits of SHAMROCK, is the exceptional headroom.
Forward of the lower landing is a crew accommodation area, with a dinette, a galleyette with undercounter fridge, pantry, storage, sink and microwave with additional storage above, and a storage locker to port with a large freezer. A full-height privacy door forward leads to a cabin with twin bunk berths to port, a high chest of drawers and a head and shower to starboard, with an additional hanging locker forward.
All of the forward accommodations can be utilized by guests and crew, or by owners with a large family, as SHAMROCK’s systems and equipment have allowed the current owners to cruise the yacht without the necessity for crew.
From the aft part of the salon, a private staircase on the starboard side leads to the full-beam master owner stateroom aft. The stateroom is embellished with a king berth, multiple tall cabinets on each side with some long opening drawers for extended travel. Two large ports, which could also be used for an emergency escape to the cockpit area, provide good internal light. There are two additional ports on each side of the cabin as well. There is a double door full-height hanging locker to port and starboard at the forward section of the cabin. To port is a doorway into a spacious ensuite teak and holly sole head with attractive counter and twin sinks. There are four opening mirrored doors above the counter, plus drawers and cabinets below, and a large shower.
Through an aluminum watertight door is a full-height engine room. The generous beam allows for a wide walkway between the two main Caterpillar engines, with two generators raised for easy access and servicing on each side of the engine room. The entire dual compressor chilled water air conditioning system is also easily accessed and was replaced very recently. Twin sea chests are placed to allow for quick servicing, as is the water maker. Attached to the forward bulkhead is a very long, stainless workbench with built-in vise, multiple drawers for parts and storage below, and larger cabinets above. It is very evident that the exhaust system is in a like-new condition. Above the engines are long built-in counters, and above those are large stainless tanks for new oil and used oil. There’s excellent access to the recently replaced AGM batteries in fiberglass battery boxes. Below the batteries is easy access to service any internal aspects of the stabilizer system - fuel tankage in separate tanks is well marked. There is excellent lighting, as well as natural light coming in from opening ports.
The flybridge is accessed from the wide staircase on the starboard side of the pilothouse via a large opening hatch. One of the noted extra benefits of the design of SHAMROCK is the flybridge area, which has more volume and length than most 75’ vessels with a similar traditional design. Two Stidd helm seats sit aft of a well-designed console with late model electronics, and a stainless and plexiglass windshield. There is L-shaped seating with storage to port has both a long table, and a shorter table to accommodate large parties for entertaining. To starboard is a huge counter cabinet area, with a wash basin, appliances, and a BBQ grill. Aft of the seating, is an additional wide counter with a stainless rail and substantial cabinetry storage. The entire flybridge and boat deck has a non-skid surface. The spacious boat deck allows for a large tender and has stainless railings around the deck area for safety. The hydraulic davit is aft of this railed section.
The entire L-shaped seating area and majority of the cabinetry are covered by a very recently installed long Bimini. The Bimini attaches to a wide main arch, with a secondary arch for electronics and satellite communication, giving SHAMROCK a very ship-like appearance.
The flybridge has built-in seating behind the helm station and plenty of room for a tender and lounge chairs
The main salon has a luxurious designer decor suitable for entertaining your guests or relaxing on the plush settee with a good book.
A convenient main deck day head, accessed from the common area, eliminates the need for guests to go into staterooms or down below, and makes for greater privacy and comfort for everyone.
The galley is state of the art with granite countertops and appliances that will satisfy even the pickiest gourmet.
The spacious master accommodations are accessed via a private staircase from the salon. The ensuite head offers a teak and holly floor, built in storage, counter top, thermostatically controlled shower, head, and double sink.
The crew quarters are forward on this yacht and appointed like a guest stateroom with over under twin berths. The crew mess has a settee, TV, refrigerator, microwave oven and sink. The ensuite head has a shower and storage.
A stairway from the pilothouse leads to the two guest staterooms and crew quarters. At the bottom of the stairs is an open landing with storage lockers and washer/dryer.
